Elul Program for University Students
Background and Objective
The objective of the Elul Program is to allow University Students to take a break from their academic studies and immerse themselves into a month-long learning experience of a different kind - an experience that rejuvenates their desire for knowledge, and their excitement for exploration.
The Program
Students study the fundamental works that are deeply tied to our identity as Israelis, as Jews and as World Citizens. This includes intensive studies of the Bible, General Philosophy, Jewish Thought, Classical Literature, Zionism, Talmud, and more.
The Faculty
Students are taught in small groups by leading lecturers in Israel, including: Dr. Micha Goodman, Erez Eshel, Rabbi Dani Segal, Micha Shalvi, Yuval Kahn, Gadi Itai, Rachel Rub, Dr. David Nachman, and more...
Target Audience
University and College students from all parts of Israeli Society.
Period of Study
The program lasts five weeks, from 8.15.07 to 9.22.07 - from the first of Elul until Yom Kippur.
